HE DOESN'T WANT A BIG YARD, HE DOESN'T WANT TOYS AND BULLY STICKS, HE JUST WANTS A PERSON-ABONDONED AND GRIEF STRICKEN BECAUSE HE WAS SEPARATED FROM HIS CANINE BESTIE, NUGGET IS ALL HEALED AND READY TO START A NEW LIFE WITH HIS PERSON-PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD FOR THIS SWEET BOY Nugget is a handsome, happy, playful boy who loves people and will never refuse a belly rub. He just needs a person who has room for lots of love and joy in their life. Nuggett is housetrained, neutered and has his vaccinations. He would make an awesome companion and is sure to bring smiles all around with his silly antics. He's all ready to roll! But things haven't always been that easy for 5 year old Nugget. We first found out about him when him and his canine companion were tied to a pole and left in ACCT Philly's parking lot. A worker later said that she saw them in the back of a pickup truck sitting quietly with a woman who was crying with her arms wrapped around him. The man driving the truck was obviously irritated and angry because you need an appointment to surrender a dog and they didn't have one. The worker went in to get a dog and when she came back out, Nugget and his sister were looking quite confused as they stood tied to a pole. Heartbreaking right-Well things got worse for our sweet boy when his sister quickly got adopted and he was left behind without her. He was clearly attached to her and he cried everytime she left his sight. Now she was gone forever. He went from a strong, playful, healthy boy to a thin, lethargic, sickly dog. The shelter put out a plea for foster and an amazing woman stepped up. With lots of TLC and patience , she brought this poor soul back to health both physically and emotionally. He now has his mojo back and is ready to start a new life. He just needs you...
