About Ellie

Hi! Adorable Ellie here. I'm a 3 year old, wiggly girl who is looking for my forever home. Not much is known about my life, but I was picked up as a stray a few months ago and spent some time in the shelter. Right before I was out of time, AAHA stepped in and got me out! I'm very grateful for the shelter staff, rescue group, and foster home that took me in. Unfortunately, my foster parents had some travel plans so now I have been spending the past few weeks at AAHA's kennel in Upperco. A few things about me. I am SMART. Like very, very smart. After less than a week in my foster home I had easily picked up multiple commands and I am incredibly eager to learn. I'm highly food and praise motivated, which should make anything you want to teach me pretty easy. I'm crate trained, have excellent house manners, and really don't make much noise. I don't chew on anything I'm not supposed to, and I love enrichment that makes my mind work. Frozen kongs are my favorite. I'm a playful girl who loves her toys, wiggling on my back, and just generally being adorable. I'd be a good only-dog, but could probably make it work with another dog if they were a good match. I don't think any cats will be in my future, though. I would love a consistent, confident owner that will continue working with me to make me the most perfect pup ever. Is that you?!
