About Zadie

Hello! I'm Zadie, a wonderful 6-year-old hound mix from Amherst, MA. At 40 pounds, I'd say I'm the perfect size! I've really hit my stride - energetic enough for young people, but I'm out of my awkward teenage phase. My favorite activities are walking with my humans, chasing balls, and of course, snuggling on the couch. I adore one-on-one time with my favorite people, but I'm also an independent gal who occasionally enjoys my alone time. I have no issues lounging around while you make the money to bring home the bacon. Part of my charm is being a bit of a 'talker' with my people. My humans say I am well-behaved, fully house trained, up to date on shots, and spayed. My command repertoire includes come, sit, lie down, and a few others. I am really the whole package and feel I deserve a second chance at love. I am a loyal and lively companion just waiting for my perfect match. I can be picky about canine friends, so I would like to be the queen of my castle as the only pet in my home. I had an unfortunate incident with a neighbor and their dog, so it was decided it would be best for all if I find a new castle with a fenced-in yard.
