About Hammy

Adoption Fee: $275
Mountain Cur / Beagle
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

Hammy is an amiable, charismatic, happy-go-lucky fellow in need of a forever home. This sweet little man was rescued from an animal control facility in Kentucky and has found his way to a loving foster home in Chicago while he waits to meet his forever family. Hammy was found as a stray, so not much is known about his background. He appears to be a mix of several breeds, possibly including Mountain Cur, Beagle, Terrier, and Collie. A truly mixed-up mixed breed! He weighs in at 38 pounds, so a great medium size. He is estimated to be 7-9 years old. Despite being a bit older, he is still quite spry, loves to play, and has a lot of pep in his step. Hammy greets every person he meets with a smile on his face and a wiggle in his butt. This guy loves, loves, loves people, and enjoys being as close to the people as loves as possible. He is a major cuddler, and couch snuggles are the highlight of his day. He is currently being fostered with several other dogs and gets along in the pack but would probably do best as the only male dog in the home. He loves female dogs and seems especially fond of dogs smaller than him, including puppies. Hammy is well-behaved, housebroken, crate trained, and trustworthy with free run of the home when alone. If interested in adopting this charming pup, please email [email protected] for more information or an application. Hammy is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and taking monthly flea and heartworm prevention. He is ready to go home today! 'ۢ Hammy's adoption fee is $275.
