About Blue

Hi, I'm Blue! I'm a 3 year old possible yorkie / terrier mix and I weigh around 8 pounds. My ideal home would be a active family who enjoys life to the fullest.. just like myself. I love car rides, going on walks and chasing squirrels around the backyard. A Secured fenced in yard is a must for me, you gotta be careful or I will try to go on adventures alone. I'm fine as long as you are outside with me. It takes me a few days to warm up to new situations so an understanding owner would be pawtastic. With all this cuteness I'm worth it, right? I didn't care about eating and even guilted my foster mom into giving me some of her cheese to make me feel special. I had a few accidents in the beginning but once I learned the routine I've been doing wonderful with potty training. I can use a potty pad if need but I will start spinning in circles to get your attention when I'm ready to go outside. I'm a smart boy, what can I say! I'm not big on playing with toys but each day I'm opening up more and more. I'm finally sitting on my foster mom's lap and showering her my puppy cuddles. I even share my blanket with her, even when she claims the blanket was hers in the first place. I do great around other dogs but I haven't been cat tested yet. Maybe a home with semi older kids who under my boundaries and cues. I need my me time to relax and most definitely my afternoon naps. I will need regular grooming appointments to keep me looking this handsome.
