About Kanga

Thanks!***** We call this little fella 'Kanga' because he bounces into your hands when you go to pick him up. He has little kangaroo legs, maybe he is just anxious for a good snuggle and some laptime? Kanga is a loving little guy, very sweet and unassuming in his foster home. While there are other dogs here that want to hog all the attention and toys, Kanga is fine waiting his turn, he is not a pushy guy. We are guessing Kanga's breed(s). He certainly looks yorkie but probably not purebred, which is all the better. You know mutts can be so much more healthy that a purebred. We just love Kanga's look, just a little unkempt and oh so scruffy and silly! He has a delightful personality, spunky, funny and always ready to play or snuggle. He has been doing well with his housebreaking, at first he wanted to mark a little, but keep an eye on him and reinforce going out and he is on the right page. Kanga is not thrilled about this arctic air so has to be taken outside, not kicking or screaming, but not really thrilled either-lol!! He will do well in a home that will not leave him alone for long hours, he would love to have a favorite person or two in his life to pamper. Kanga is 8 +/-years old, and is about 9 pounds. He may need a dental in the upcoming years, it was not recommended at this time. He is on some dental chews as well as a better quality food that will help. Kanga's adoption fee is $250.
