Ariel's previous owner could no longer care for her due to physical limitation post-stroke, so she found herself back home with CFP-NC. She does have a high prey drive, so her ideal home should not have cats or smaller dogs. Ariel is the definition of a Velcro dog. She bonded quickly with her foster mom and is a very loving dog. She is very praise and food motivated and loves to seek out attention and affection. She greets you with the best 'wiggle-butt' (with her little nubby tail) and kisses. That being said, Ariel would not thrive in a chaotic home and would prefer a more structured environment. She is working on increasing her confidence in new situations, so will need a family willing to work her through the 'scary' stuff (like that shifty holiday decor that appeared out of thin air overnight in the neighbor's yard.) She is crate trained, house trained, and knows basic commands. She gets along very well with her fur siblings after proper introductions, but would do best with male dog companions or an only dog. She would thrive in a home with strong leader that will continue her training and supervise her with new environment. Interested in adopting? Apply at https://cfp-nc.org/adopt/
