About Milo

Milo is a 22 month old mixed breed Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog. He is very energetic and smart. He loves to play fetch (although he's working on letting go of the ball:) He loves the beach, the snow, hiking, playing with other dogs, and long walks. He is a herder and will try to herd you and can be quite mischievous if he hasn't gotten enough exercise. He gets along great with other dogs and would do best with another active dog companion with a yard to run around and wrestle. He's anxious with strangers and can be protective of his people. He had a lot of anxiety and he's come a long way, so he needs someone who will continue to help him progress. Milo loves to cuddle and is very quirky. He knows about 6-7 commands (sit pretty will melt your heart), is house broken and crate trained at night, but he does fine sleeping on the bedroom floor (or in your bed:). He's easy to travel with and has slept in tents, RV's and hotels no problem. He's a quirky, anxious, active, lovable guy :)
