About Allie

Adoption Fee: $300
Beagle mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Meet Allie This gorgeous puppy is ready to find her forever loving home. Allie's had an awful life until now. This poor little pup was SHOT not once, but TWICE! And, she's only eight months old! What gives?! Her leg and hip were so severely damaged that the best course of action for her, to have a long and healthy life, was to amputate. After having her leg amputated, Allie is feeling so much better and is showing her foster mama the wonderful doggo she was always meant to be. Allie is a beagle mix. She is petite and so pretty. Missing her hind leg doesn't slow her down at all. Allie has been recovering in foster care, probably the first loving home she's ever known. Her foster mama has given us great insight about this fur baby. She says Allie is SUPER sweet, affectionate, gentle, loving and easy to be around. She's a happy girl these days. She wants (and needs) to run and play. A containment fence will be a must. Allie is nimble and agile. She can climb with no problem, especially when she wants to be with her people. She is crate trained and house trained. She's very gentle and minds well. She absolutely loves being with her people. She follows her foster mom around the house. When her foster mom works, Allie is curled up next to her snoozing away. Allie has a great routine which anchors her and she loves it. She walks well on a leash and enjoys walking with her foster mama. Allie loves the snow and jumping around in the powdery flakes. She has a sense of adventure and curiosity. Allie seems to be afraid of other dogs and uncertain noises. If she hears other dogs, she cowers. That said, she may do okay with a gentle, non-threatening dog. But thinking about this little dog's life, she was abused and hurt, so patience to help her confidence will be important. Allie is living with kitties and is doing well. Allie is a gem. If you're looking for an absolutely fabulous little puppers, Allie is amazing. She sure deserves a safe and loving home after all the trauma she so bravely faced. This little girl is a champ.
