About Charlie

Charlie was surrendered to animal control in Sept 2021 because the family was moving and couldn't care for him any longer. He is blind but gets around very well. Rainbow had him examined by an opthalmologist who determinded that he has retinal degeneration with no known cure. He will be on 1 drop of prednisalone for the rest of his life. Charlie is a sweet lap boy who doesn't know that he weighs 73 lbs. He loves to walk and is good on a leash. His foster has several cats who don't bother him at all. Charlie would love a family who would take him for walks and include him on all family outings where dogs are allowed. He would also make a great fireplace dog who snores loudly when he is dreaming of his new home.
