[Read About Natural Incontinence Care] Harriet is a very snuggly Yorkie mix. She is a lap dog. We adopted Harriet from the animal shelter two years ago. The shelter estimated she was 7-8 years old at that time, and she didn't have a name. She'd been brought in off the street. Harriet came home to our family with another male dog an three kids. She is ok with them, but not great with the kids. She will snap at them if they pull on her (rightfully so). Harriet seems to think she is a vicious guard dog (all six pounds of her) and really goes wild when other dogs pass by. With three small children, we haven't taken the time to properly train her. She needs very disciplined help learning to go to the bathroom outside, and we haven't done the work. She's a nervous lady and needs lots of love and affection. We would love for her to find a home where she can thrive and get all the love she deserves. It's more than we can handle at this time. Some vaccines were just updated, but the vet wanted to wait on rabies since she's so small as to not do all the vaccines at the same visit. She's on flea meds, and eats Blue Buffalo small breed food once a day. Harriet is currently on Prozac to help her with her anxiety. We paid to have several teeth pulled when we adopted Harriet'| she's working with about five or six teeth just fine!
