About Ruby

Do you love heelers but don't want the high energy of one? Then Ruby is your girl. Ruby is an approximately 6-year-old, 29 lb heeler currently being fostered in Winter Garden, FL (Orange County). She loves nothing more than being a couch potato with her human(s). She's into belly rubs, long or short walks and stuffed toys (she does not destroy them, just loves to have you toss it to her). She had an encounter with a car and has some neurological issues. She will spin around and do this cute little prancing thing, and sometimes her balance is not the best. It does not bother her at all, and it's kind of cute when she circles/prances. She is also on eye drops for dry eyes. Heartworm treatment is finished and she is doing fine!!She also has a Lipoma on her front right chest which will need to be removed later. Ruby walks great on a lease, is house broken, and knows sit. She would benefit from additional training. She is ok with certain dogs. She is also ok with kids. Her ideal home would perhaps be someone at home often with a fenced backyard.
