About Neido

Neido is a large Bully that weighs approximately 75-80 lbs. He's a very sensitive young pup that isn't comfortable with physical play with other dogs. He likes to run and play but he's the kind of the dog that wants to play on his terms only. Neido has not had a very social upbringing with people or other dogs. He did have an older sister who called all the shots between them, but she passed away so he's all alone now. He gets along so good with puppies! He doesn't feel threatened by them so he's comfortable playing with them. Neido can get uncomfortable around other dogs his size but over time he does warm up. He has separation anxiety and hates being crated. He will destroy a crate if he's left alone in one, so it's not recommended. He's about a year and half. Loves to play with balls especially the larger ones. He would do ok with a calmer female, no males because he will challenge them. He loves spring poles and flirt poles and does well in our outdoor kennels when supervised. Someone who is always home is preferred. He can do a lot of damage to things when left unsupervised and alone. He needs a calmer household. His health is great! He is NOT for the first-time dog owner. Neutered. Does well on leash for walks, likes to play fetch. Not sure about water or cats but never recommended! Livestock may also not be for him, he's never been introduced. Loves feeding time, is definitely food and treat motivated and gets excited for his meal. Although he is kid friendly and lived with a nine year old, we're recommending no young children because they have the wrong energy for him at this time - he needs a calmer environment. Neido has been with his trainer/foster for a couple of months now and is ready for a new home! His trainer will be available for free consult after adoption!!
