About Ali

Hello, I'm Ali, a 3-year-old, 70 pound, gray and white Pit Bull Terrier, Cane Corso mix. I'm a sweet and handsome boy who is looking for my perfect match. I'm neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. I'm great walking on a leash and I'm housebroken. I love treats and I'm very trainable. I know some commands and I love to work them. I'm a good boy who just wants to please you. I'm very friendly and playful with other dogs and children. I would do best with children over 12 because of my size and playfulness so I don't knock any little ones over. I even get along with frogs! I made a frog friend who I played with, without hurting him. What can I say? I am a bit of a gentle giant. I have not been cat tested but I can be if you'd like. I'm very loyal and affectionate. I will follow you everywhere you go and cuddle with you whenever you want. I need an experienced adopter who can understand my body language and correct my behavior. Due to improper puppy socialization, I occasionally (although very rare, since training) will display a growling playful dominance that can be very intimidating. A quick and firm 'sit' corrects this behavior. This happens every once in a while, when I am not ready to come inside from playing. I have not hurt anyone with this behavior, but it can be intimidating until you learn to identify and correct it.
