About Emmett

Energetic, loyal, and loving. Once you are Emmett's person he will love you unconditionally! Emmett is seeking a home with someone who will play with him regularly, exercise him, and give him the attention that he loves and needs. We have had Emmett for 7 years. Unfortunately our schedules and finances became such that we can no longer care for him the way that he deserves. Plus we just had a new baby. Emmett has a little bit of people anxiety, so he is timid and barks when he meets new people. Once he knows you though, he is open and warm! He was trained by his previous owner to bark whenever someone is at the door so he has a barking issue with doorbells and knocking. He may need training in this area if that is an issue. We will miss Emmett so much as he is so affectionate and playful, but we are excited at the idea of someone being able to take him into their home and love him and play with him as he deserves and needs.
