Brody is a fellow with a HUGE personality - and in one tiny little dog! Brody is a 4-year-old Chihuahua weighing a mere 6 lb. He is good with other dogs and cats, but not recommended for a home with children under 12. You see, Brody has some fear induced anxiety and this causes him to be a little snarly when he wants to let humans know he is uncomfortable. He has never bitten or snapped, just becomes vocal and shows teeth to announce that his boundaries are being tested. He has come a long way during the last month while in foster care and he has learned to trust his people so once he has said his piece, he goes right back to snuggling. One of the things that causes Brody to be uncomfortable are men in hats and he does not go down steps though he will go up. It may take a few weeks for Brody to acclimate to his new home and people, so any potential adopter must be willing to give him a chance to adjust and not give up or push too quickly. The things Brody LOVES are playing with and chasing toys and wandering in the yard. He also loves his crate and considers it his safe place. Brody is neutered, microchipped, HW negative, and UTD on all vaccines. He is doing really well with his house training and should be kept on a schedule to maintain his success in this area. If this little twirling lovebug sounds like a great addition to your family, an application can be submitted at www.sophiasgracefoundation.org. Brody's adoption fee is $375.00, and he is fostered in Newton, NC.
