About Panther

Lab / Pit Bull
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Meet Panther!! We saved her 1 hour before she was to be euthanized due to being shy. She was left there with all of her puppies by her owner. The pups all got adopted quickly but she was down to the last few minutesz We are so glad we saved her. She has turned out to be a super sweet and loving girl! If you give her a day to adjust to you she becomes a complete love bug! Panther is an approx 1 year old lab mix. Likely with pitbull. She's only 37 Pounds. She will be spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines as part of her adoption. She is great with other dogs and cats! She likes to try to play with the cat and chase but never aggressive. She would do well with kids that are a little older. Ones that are respectful and can understand to give her space until she comes out of her shell. Panther did well on her car rides and does great in a crate. She just needs a little encouragement in the form of a treat to go into it. She is still working on potty training but definitely improving! She is starting to ring the 'potty bell' at the front door to go outside! She was very scared of the leash initially but now gets excited to see it because she knows she's going for a walk ٪ She has a low to moderate energy level, usually up for whatever you are doing. She will follow you around when you are up and about or will lay around when you are relaxing. Panther is still young so any random items she finds on the floor such as shoes she does like to chew on but does not chew on furniture. Having lots of bones and supervision helps with this. She is not aggressive with food, treats or toys towards other dogs or people. Due to her lack of trust in people initially she is scared and will bark and cower down at first meeting. But she's not at all aggressive about it. She just needs time. She does better with slow movement. Moving too fast towards her scares her and she will run away from you. She loves being outside but you need to use caution opening doors. She will try to bolt outside. Please do not adopt her unless your family can be responsible with door discipline. It's up to you to be sure she is not allowed to slip out. Panther is really starting to enjoy love and family living. She loves bones, going on walks, and any toy to chew on. She's going to be a great companion. She would be a great fit for a home that gives her time to earn her trust and gives her the love she deserves %9D%A4%8F Vet and home checks required.
