About Oliver

Posted on 1/21/22 and reposted 4/4/23, and the picture was taken on 1/19/22. We tagged Oliver from the Smith County, TX Shelter. He had been there over 30 days with no interest, so he was out of time. He appears to be an Anatolian Shepherd mix while his face colors and shape resemble a Saint Bernard, loves people, loves to play with the other dogs, is crate trained, and will not climb over fencing even though he is tall enough to easily go over a 4 foot fence. He does have a loud deep bark, and will alert us of anything he sees or hears. Oliver was neutered on 1/24/22. Oliver was adopted by a couple in Palestine, TX on 1/29/22, and was picked up as a stray by the Galveston Island Humane Society Shelter on 3/22/23. We and the shelter were not able to reach the adopters to find out what happened. Thankfully a board member agreed to meet me halfway of the 4 hour drive, so we could get Oliver back. Estimated to have been born around January 2021, and weighs 89 pounds as of 5/12/2023.
