About TAZ

Adoption Fee: $375.00
Chihuahua
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Taz is a 2 year old, 7.3 pound Chihuahua who came to us due to a sad situation. His previous owner, an elderly gentleman, passed away at home and was not found for 2 weeks. Poor little Taz was with him the whole time. Taz is a timid, but sweet boy. He takes a few days to warm up to new people and then is friendly and likes belly rubs, squeaky toys, and napping in his doggy bed. Taz gets along fine with other small dogs and will be best suited to a 1 or 2 dog family. He has not been around cats since we have had him, and is too small and shy for a home with kids. Taz is working on his potty training and responds well to gentle encouragement and praise. He is too little to be out unsupervised and needs to be kept on a leash if he's in an unfenced yard. He likes to roam in his foster mom's fenced backyard and his ideal home with have a small secured yard. Taz has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, spayed, fecal and heartworm tested, is heartworm negative, has had a 12-month ProHeart shot and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. If you are interested in giving him a home come meet him. He will make a wonderful companion for a person or family who will give him time to adjust from his loss! https://form.jotform.com/212598760861062 *We are located in Pensacola Florida.
