About Kali

Hi! My name is Kali. I am just about 2 years old and 50 lbs. This is what I am all about. I haven't had a very good life before I landed with my people now. We don't know exactly what I was put through but it couldn't have been a great scenario. I am an incredibly affectionate and well-behaved girl inside my home. I am trustworthy left out all day while my people are at work. But, I do have some challenges. I need someone with dog experience (breed experience is a plus). I am fearful and scared with strangers and strange dogs and then I get protective and worried. I have been through training and have made strides with this behavior but more will be needed! I am incredibly intelligent and sensitive. I want to please and be a good girl. In a nutshell, this is what I am looking for: an adult only home; a single-family home with a fenced in yard; no other dogs; cats are okay but be willing to teach me not to chase them; no children; a quiet atmosphere; an owner willing to work with me and boost my confidence level.
