About Duke

Hello. We are in search of a very good and loving home for our boxer. Our boxer is a 9 month male named duke, born April 2021. He was a gift for my daughter, who we now discovered is allergic to him. We love him so much and attempted ways to manage her allergy so that we could keep him, but she continues to have the issues. We are heartbroken to re-home, but know this is a must at this point. Also please note. He is a boxer puppy so he is extremely high energy. He has been kennel trained and if taken out in a regular schedule rarely has accidents. However, he can be extremely rough (unintentionally), so you would need to be ready to train. He has been socialized in daycare and isn't aggressive towards animals. However, he is big and will jump and play so he may inadvertently be harmful to little kids and small animals if you don't have time to invest in training. Unfortunately, he has been in the kennel due to my daughters condition and we can't get him out often outside of his regular potty breaks. If you could assist us in identifying a good family, we would be greatly appreciative. He has been neutered and is up to date on shots. We are in the Westfield Indiana area.
