About Nellie

Nellie is our 1 year old family dog. She is the product of our neighbors Pit Bull getting into our yard with our Pure German Shephard. She is spayed and current on vaccinations. She has great size and posture. She is shorthaired and looks more shephard than pit bull. She is early in training and really motivated by food. She does love affection and appreciates praise. She loves people and wants to be around them. She knows basic commands and is starting to learn more. We have small children in the home and she does ok with them. Our kids have learned how to 'play' with her and other dogs. She will growl and snarl if provoked but has not shown more aggression than that. Recommend older children or kids that are respectful to animals. She is a fast runner and enjoys spending her days sun bathing and chasing bunnies in our yard. She is early in learning leash commands. she is learning house training and is kennel trained. she loves to chew but if given bones/toys she is satisfied. Nellie is one of two dogs we have to rehome. Her dad is a purebread shephard. They sadly got out of our yard and chased/harmed a neighbors sheep. since then we have tried everything possible to change and deter the behaivor. Please give our Nellie a good home.
