About Bobbie Sue

This tan beauty is Bobbie Sue. At 7 months old she's good sized at almost 50 lbs, still being young it's a good bet she's going to get a bit bigger before she's finished growing. Bobbie Sue is an active girl that is looking for an active family or people in her new home. We believe her to be a husky/shepherd and those breed mixes need a lot of physical and mental exercise as they are both super smart & have a lot of endurance when it comes to physical exercise. Bobbie Sue still needs some work with her basic commands, leash skills, and settling down when its time. Learning these things will help her understand what you want from her and build her confidence within your relationship. She gets car sick easily so she would rather not travel the world with you. Bobbie Sue does great in her crate and loves to play fetch. Bobbie Sue has gotten along with other dogs before but unfortunately has some resource guarding when it comes to things she finds special like food, treats, and beds. She is not comfortable meeting new dogs and therefore will not be the kind of dog you can take the dog park. Due to her issue with resource guarding we think she would do best in an only dog home, unless someone was willing to work on her resource guarding issues. Any future dog siblings will need to be her size or bigger though. It would also be best that Bobbie Sue has a home with a back yard where she can play and take bathroom breaks, since seeing and meeting dogs on leash is not easy for her. She has never lived with cats, so we aren't sure how she feels about them. She has also never lived with kids and unfortunately thinks they are aliens out to eat her so she is very verbal about her dislike of them. A home with kids over 15 would be best.
