About Max

I'm Max, a 4 year old German Shepherd that is in need of a home. The first home I had, my owner did not want me anymore so he left me and I was all alone. I eventually found another home, the one I'm at now, but it's only until I can find a family that wants me permanently. I haven't done anything wrong, I just haven't had much luck in life. I'm a big boy weighing in at around 95 lbs, but I'm friendly and I've never bitten anyone. I bark at other dogs but I think that's what dogs do. I haven't been around cats so I don't know how I would react if/when I see one but I do try to be good. I have been looking for someone to adopt me for several months now, but I have not had any luck. The lady I stay with has even called several no kill shelters between Alabama and Tennessee, but none of them have space for me. I don't want to die... I just want to be loved and cared for.
