About Phoebe

Phoebe is a complete sweetheart and loves to be loved. She is a small (~30 lbs) Australian cattle dog mix who had a rough start; Phoebe was rescued after being hit by a car and left at the shelter with two broken legs. She endured multiple repair surgeries and physical therapy in 2021 and is ready for her furever family! She is wary of strangers at first but is a total love bug when she gets to know you. She adores her two foster sisters and gets along great with other dogs. (She can be a bit of a bone & Kong hog so she may not pair well with any dogs that resource guard.) We do not recommend cats or young children due to her breed's chasing and hunting tendencies. She has a big personality, loves going on walks and chasing squirrels in the backyard. Phoebe is very intelligent, she already knows a few commands and loves interactive puzzles and games. She is still working to build her strength in her healed limbs and we recommend continuing her exercises and supplements in her new home to keep her healthy and happy.
