About Nora

Nora is about 7 years old and is a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix (Chiweenie) weighing about sixteen pounds. Once she warms up to you, you will see her tail wagging and toy stealing playful side. If you love the warmth and company of a sweet dog while you relax on the sofa, Nora is your girl. Since living with a cat in her foster home, she has learned not to chase the cat, she joins foster mom and one or two of her personal dogs on the sofa, and now insists on sleeping next to foster mom along with her lab and cat. Nora is still working on potty training but walks on a leash to go outside for potty breaks. The best adopter for Nora will be someone who's patient, home often, and willing to give her the love and attention she deserves. Respectful children in the home who love, love, love dogs are a possibility. A calm resident dog, large or small, in the home would be a plus. A fenced yard is preferred. Nora remains a sweet tail wagging girl with lovely expressive eyes. She's a Texas girl with a thin coat so likes a sweater or quilted coat to go outside in Wisconsin winter weather. Besides keeping her warm, she's darn cute dressed up! Nora is still working on 'potty outside.' She hopes her forever home will have patience to continue working with her.
