About Cas

**CAN-DO CAS** DOG SELECTIVE Age 5 Phoenix Az. Welcome Cas to the ANM Family!! Cas was found as a stray in Pinal County in early September. The finder called county and said the dog was walking funny and thought he had a broken leg. Cas did have a microchip that indicated he was adopted several years ago from PCACC...his previous owners refused to claim him. With further medical examination it was determined that his elbow had been dislocated for an extended period of time and needed to be amputated. The shelter is no place for him to have to recover...so when PCACC reached out to us to see if we could help him of course we said YES! Cas is a beautiful and very happy 5yr old Pitty mix with a gorgeous brindle coat. He LOVES people and treats! He moves quickly on three legs and the missing limb does not seem to hold him back at all. He is a sweet boy who sits for treats, is very friendly, gets so excited to be with a human and wags his tail furiously with a huge smile on his face. He seems to have medium energy, wanders around the play yard happily, he allows brushing and petting all over with no issues. He gives huge kisses and hugs and blossoms with the attention and love he is receiving. His dog-to-dog interactions in the shelter environment seem to be hit and miss. He lived with other dogs previously but does not seem to like all dogs he has come in contact with at PCACC.
