About Jasper

Jasper is a 20 mo old male mixed breed that weighs 10 pounds. His dad is a Chihuahua. His mom is a chi/fox terrier mix. He is sweet & playful once he feels safe but he is very nervous initially. He is most comfortable with female dogs. Mainly because male dogs have always bullied him. He uses potty pads and has not been house trained or leash trained. He would be safest in a fenced yard while working on training since he is a flight risk outdoors. An enclosed patio would also be a great option while he adjusts to going outside. Jasper does take some time to warm up. Usually a couple weeks. He is a bite risk if approached to quickly until he trusts you. He will need a patient home to give him time to adjust. No young children. He is food motivated, which will be the key to winning him over. He is neutered, chipped & current on vaccines. His adoption fee is $100.
