About Mya

Mya is a beautiful German Shepard. We rescued her 2 years ago before we had our youngest child. She is extremely protective of the baby- anxious level protective. She's gotten better as the bay has grown, but I feel she would do best with older children that can handle her energy. My fianc̩ has struggled with her the last year since our baby was born- her anxiety and whining when she wants to be near the baby affects his bipolar disorder. I don't want to find a new home, but it would be best for all of us. She doesn't deserve to be anxious and would do amazing with a confident active person. She is loving and stays close to her person. In regards to other dogs- she does not know to give them space. She is very curious about other animals. I don't know how that would play out long term if you have a dog already. Before we had our baby and I worked outside the home she was here all day with my fianc̩- who works remotely, and was a very calm relaxed dog during the day. She definitely feeds off of our energy.
