Carrie can be reached at [email protected], or 602-316-8919 No texts please) Eileen is a 4 yearold Great Dane. She came from a small border town shelter with slim chances of adoption. Eileen is not very big, probably 90 or so pounds. Eileen did not have a lot of socialization but her time in rescue has been really good for her. She is not as fearful of humans and with humans carrying sticks (crutches, brooms and poop cleaning utensils)she was obviously hit quite a bit. Eileen was so scared when she arrived that she just laid down in the driveway and I had to wait for someone to help me pick her up to get her into the yard. She now knows that living in a home is wonderful, she sleepson the day bed, she is a dog door expert and loves her doggie friends as well. We named her Eileen because Great Danes tend to lean on people. He name she came with was Skye but since the foster had a Great Dane named Skye already, we had to change it. She was extremely thin when we received her, the former owner told the shelter the mother of Eileen kept her from eating. I know the obvious, not to hard to feed separately, but she is better off in rescue and to be adopted. Eileen is in great shape now.
