To apply, please visit: https://shaynesrescue.com/?page_id=26982&preview=true Sheba either needs human(s) who are right with her nearly ALL of the time or another dog. Both would be great, but she is not a dog who enjoys the kennel or wants to be alone. Sheba is a great dog in foster in Olympia, WA. She is a wonderful 15 lb girl. She is likely 7 yrs of age. Sheba was saved in TX as her mom has ALS and can no longer walk or talk, so the rescue took in Sheba and is taking in several other of their dogs as well. Sheba went from that home to the rescues home in TX and she mixed with all the dogs great, like she had always been there!. Sheba is housetrained. She's very low maintenance and just likes to hang out with you. Being in a new place, she does get a little anxious when if her human leaves, but if she's with another dog she does well. She doesn't necessarily love cats, but she did not chase the cats. She just ignores them mostly. She loves to sleep with you under the covers. She doesn't bark much at all. Her previous owner states that she is good with kids. She had a five-year-old grandson that would visit. She would do well in a home with other dogs to keep her company unless her people are with her a lot. Sheba just had a dental in TX prior to coming to the PNW! She is a very easy-going dog for someone that is laid-back or even active. She even likes if you carry her around!
