About Loki

Loki has a mild temperament, he barks with noise from the outside, but quickly calms once his owner shows no fear of whomever is entering the home. His owner passed away a year ago. Since then, he has been living with a family friend. She is nearly 80 and cannot take care of him any longer. Loki has only briefly been around other dogs and small children. While he is curious, he has never been aggressive. Due to how minimal this time has been, I do not know how he would tolerate children and other animals. To the best of my knowledge, this dog is not potty trained. The previous owner would simply leave him in a room and let him go. The current owner has done the same because she is frail and terrified he will run away. He will never run away. Once he loves you, he will never run far. He needs someone that can give him time to see if he can be potty trained. He does wear diapers for now. We are boarding him at the vet starting Monday 1/24 until we can rehome him, as the elderly owner is now in hospital.
