Courtesy Posting: PLEASE HELP US FIND A FOREVER HOME FOR SR LOVE 'BOOMER' A CHOW/GOLDEN RETR/SHEP LOOKING PUP IN WASHINGTON STATE - 10 YEARS YOUNG & PERFECTLY SIZED AT 67 LBS BOOMER Washington State Please help us fine a wonderful home for this older dear chow/golden retriever looking mix named Boomer who may also be part shepherd. Adorable Boomer is estimated to be 10 years old and weights 67 lbs, but still enjoys walks and would be a formidable companion who wants to be around you all the time. He does not expect full attention all the time - but you need to give him quality time on his walks and letting him being around you as much as possible. Boomer was saved from a shelter in So Cal where he was a regular and frequent 'stray' on the streets as his owner was not the most ideal owner/home. Boomer is as laid back as photos show and tolerated all the neglect and abandonment from before, but we want to make sure that this adorable fellow gets into a forever home with a new owner who establishes a truly deep friendship with him. Boomer used to live with another dog many years ago, but he gets nervous energy when he sees another dog on walks and needs to be redirected, so he is recommended as an only dog in the home, and no kitties please. While they require in person adoptions normally, for the right home, the rescue may consider transport to CA where we have representatives who can check in on him.
