This tiny little mama girl came to us from the euthanasia list at our county shelter. She was going to be put to sleep because she had mammary masses on her abdomen, was fighting an ear infection, and she had a limp in her front right leg. She had clearly been a mama over and over, and we couldn't stand the thought of her being euthanized without the chance to receive proper medical care and a loving home. We took her in and quickly realized she was an incredibly sweet girl who was so appreciative of all the help she received. We had her masses removed, along with part of mammary chain. We ran full bloodwork and x-rays on her front elbow. She did come back as Valley Fever positive, but with a low titer that is treatable, and it has been concluded that the limp in her leg will resolve over time as a result. Valentina has been healing in a foster home, and she has proven to be the sweet girl we knew she was. She has done well with everyone she meets, though she is not a fan of other dogs. She has done will with the kiddos in the home and would make an incredible addition for a family looking for just one pet. Apply to meet this beautiful girl using the button below!
