About Roxy

This is Roxy, a 50 lb Boxer Pit mix. Roxy came to us at 8 weeks old from a family in town that had a litter they were finding homes for. Her original name was 'Penny' due to her coloring - but we changed it to 'Roxy' due to her personality. She is now about 8 months old. In our view, she needs a family that is VERY active and can provide a LOT of exercise. She has a ton of energy. She needs a home that can be very focused on her. I have no idea how she'd be with children, as our home is all adults. With our dog, she loves to hang out and play (but she'll go after infirmities such as our other dog's arthritic paw). She charges cats, and I would recommend her going to a cat-free home (ours is not). She's been through one mini 5-day puppy training, and a two-week long away puppy training, so she does have some training that we're continuing to reinforce. She naps, and sleeps overnight in a kennel. She still requires significant supervision, but she potties outside (we take her out about every two hours specifically to potty), but is able to hold it overnight. Located in Buhl, and willing to travel a little to you. She is spayed, chipped, and current on all vaccinations.
