About Pogo

Hi, my name is Pogo. I got this name from PACA, the volunteer clinic I was given to when my owners decided they couldn't take care of me anymore. I am not sure why I was given up. I love everyone and everything and would not hurt a fly. I get along great with humans, young people and other dogs. I love to go for walks and play outside, my favorite game is fetch and if I find a stick on a walk, I will pick it up and carry it the rest of the way ? If it's a lazy day, sign me up. I will find a nice sunny spot and relax so I can recharge. I am a smart dog but was not taught very much. I got the name pogo because I like to jump, but I am working on not doing it. I just get really excited to see people and don't know what to do with myself. I need a home that has another dog, a child over 8 or a family that wants to show me the world. I did not get that a lot but am learning there is so much to life. I am house trained. I know to sit and stay, especially when the door is open. I don't bark or whine but will alert you if someone is coming to our door. I am being kennel trained but would rather lay on the couch and cuddle with you.
