Hey everyone, I'm Johnny. You might recognize my face from PACK-9's Coming Soon album, but I'm here now and ready to meet my furever family! I traveled many hours from Alabama to Pennsylvania where they said I could become a member of a someone's family, so it was worth the long ride. In my foster home, I've learned that entering doors to come inside is a good thing, and I really like it inside with my doggie friends and hoomans, so I mastered that skill in less than 2 days. I'm a little shy at first, but everything has just been so new and unfamiliar. Once I understand that all this newness is good and safe, I quickly warm up for cuddles and kisses and playtime. Ohhhh, I love to play with the other dogs!! Have you seen my adoptable sis Kensleigh? We run zoomies in the yard together and play until it's naptime. Yes, I still take naps. I'm about 9 months old. I also really like toys and antlers for chew time. My foster mom tells me I'm such a good boy because I've been quiet and calm in my crate and I haven't made any indoor messes. I get along with small and big dogs with ease, and those guinea pigs don't even get my attention, so I'm likely cool with cats, too. I'm neutered and current on all my shots and preventatives, so I'm ready now to meet you! The hoomans say I'm likely a Lab mix if a breed label matters to you, and my current size is about 43 pounds. If you're interested in meeting me, submit an application to the rescue: We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. We are an all-volunteer organization, and we are always looking for more help. Learn more about adopting from us or volunteering for us at www.pack9rescue.org or check us out on Facebook for more information and a complete list of dogs available for adoption.
