Location: Broadway, North Carolina (IN BOARD AND TRAIN) DOB: 1/2021 I am an est. 1 y/o male Mastiff/Boxer Mix. I am neutered, UTD on shots weighing in at 91 lbs. The vet thinks I when I am full grown I will weigh around 110-115. I am growing like a bean sprout making me a lil clumsy. My foster Dad calls me dump truck because I plow my way through, so no kids. I am a loyal Velcro dog waiting for my forever family to show me the world as much of it is so new to me. I am an energetic boy requiring daily walks and mental stimulation. I ride great in the car and I will be the best back seat driver you ever did meet! Bath time is a breeze in the tub. I am food motivated so training is really fun for me. I have some moderate resource guarding of bones if not managed properly. I am crate and potty trained. I am working on my manners and I know sit, down, paw, touch and stay for short durations. Besides basic obedience I am working on my jumping and mouthing. I was found on the streets in Texas and spent 3 months in animal control. These unfortunate circumstances have created a large dog with 'puppy' behaviors so ongoing training is a MUST. I used to go to doggie daycare a few days a week and did great with small groups of dogs, but for now I would do best as the only dog. I would do best in a house with no small animals or cats nor birds since my curiosity can get the best of me. With a slow intro I may love another dog to play with in the future, but it is probably best that I live as an only dog. with no cats or other animals in the home. A securely fenced yard would be best. I attempted jumped a 4 ft fence when I first arrived at my foster home so adopters must be able to be patient during the decompression period. I need a lot of exercise, stimulation, and a solid routine.
