This little 'Fella' is a character! He's extremely sensitive to his surroundings and until he's settled in and assured a routine, he will show signs of separation anxiety. (Anxiousness, whining, howling, crying) Fella would benefit from having at least one other stable dog pal to take cues from. He doesn't seem to be interested in playing with his dog friends or toys (yet) but will become exuberantly, bouncy happy when it's treat or mealtime. Fella has no teeth. He's probably partially deaf and his eyes are aging but he gets around quite well. He's comfortable wearing clothes and a bellyband. He seems to be potty trained, as long as he's let outside on a consistent routine. (He hasn't really given signs of when he needs to go out.) He's leash trained but enjoys a fenced yard. He would benefit from having some socialization with people since he shows fear aggression with strangers. His perfect living situation would be with someone who is ready to fall in love, home most of time and who doesn't mind a snuggly ten-pound bundle of love sleeping on them or to next to them! Fella is fostered in Yorktown, VA and his adoption fee is $300.00. Applications may be submitted via our website: www.sophiasgracefoundation.org
