About Opal

Chihuahua / Miniature Pinscher
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Female

Hi everyone, I'm Opal. My mom, dad, my sister Minnie 2, and I were one happy family and we lived with humans where we were happy. One day, our family decided to move. They put us in the car, and we thought we were going with them to a new home, but we got dumped off at a shelter instead. We were all really scared, and it was noisy and cold in there. We were confused and didn't know what was going to happen to us. IMPS was able to get my mom and sister out, but my dad went to another rescue. We miss him, but we're sure glad he got out of that shelter and into safety. You know what happens to dogs if they don't get adopted or into a good rescue? It isn't good! We all settled into our new foster home and are loving our new lives. My sister and I play with wild abandon and very entertaining. Sometimes it sounds like World War III and like someone is being murdered but it is just us playing with gusto. We run around the yard and almost fly we do such fast zoomies. We try to play with the other dogs, but they get tired quick and we just give up and terrorize each other. We have great fun! My mom is a Chi Pin (Min Pin/Chi mix). My dad is yellow, and cream and I don't know what he was. He was just a little bigger than mom who is 14 lbs. He was very sweet. So that makes me a chi pin mix..... We play with great gusto and keep our foster mom laughing non-stop. I have a silly, playful personality but I am a little more serious and reserved than my sister Minnie 2 (also listed for adoption). I love to play, and I do it with wild abandon, but I am somewhat quieter than Minnie 2. I am delightful and keep my foster mom laughing. It is impossible not to smile and feel happy around me and my upbeat sister. I will be such a wonderful addition to the lucky family who gets me! Note: Since I'm a pretty energetic girl and kind of noisy, I'd do best in a home with a yard so I can run free and burn off some of my excess energy. If you don't have very close neighbors, even better since I love to bark and exercise my voice. Therefore, I may not be suitable for apartment living or homes with young children. If you think you could love me and take really loving care of me, could you fill out the application form at: https://www.minpinrescue.org/home.html and get approved? I can't wait to meet you. I'm located in Tulare County, California and can be adopted to California or an adjacent state. I'm going to get vetted in mid-February and will be ready for my new home, so get your application in soon.
