Joy and Josie are two new, very scared little members to the Fido pack. Both are 6 years old and came to our center by no fault of their own. Their former guardian was facing personal struggles and was incapable of their care. These two tiny chihuahuas need a very patient person to help them build their confidence. The change of scenery and meeting lots of new people has been overwhelming for them. We do think with time and a lot of love, they will be the most loyal companions and your very best friends. They do get along okay with other small dogs, but larger pups may be a bit intimidating for them. We are unsure about cats but will continue to learn more about them. Due to their nervous behavior, we would not place them in a home with children or frequent visitors. This pair is positively bonded and must stay together for the remainder of their lives.
