Name: Pesto Breed: Boxer mix Age: 2 years old Weight: 50 lbs Length of time in rescue: 4 months Reason in rescue: stray that was hit by car Pros: friends with dogs under 45 lbs, love humans of all ages and sizes, good on car rides, love walks/hikes, happy wiggle butt always in motion, keep small animals and stray cats out of your yard, house/crate trained, like hard chew toys, worked well with a trainer Cons: happily protect you from stuffed animals, scared of big dogs when off leash (trust you to protect me on leash), my happy personality is a bit much for young kids at my eye level Location: Harrisburg, PA Vetting: all up to date, on preventions, and neutered We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
