Hi, I'm Aristotle��%90%BE (Compatibility with dogs unknown) My shelter notes say I am set to be euthanized Wed Jan 19th. Why am I E-listed? I'm frightened at the shelter!! I'm scared!! Is this a reason to take my life away? NO, but the shelter says I must get out because I cannot make progress in here. I need an experienced, patient foster that understands fearful dogs like me. Can you save my life? I'm so handsome yet I'm timid, fearful, and scared but I do slowly warm up! (watch my videos!). I am a 3-year-old handsome brindle Shepherd/Saint Miguel Cattle dog (54 lbs.). I came into the shelter as a stray trembling and shaking with fear. I hadn't had much time to recover (specifically 5 days) before I found myself on the euthanasia list because the shelter said I was making little progress. Dog Savers came today and met me. They saw me get transported from a cart to the yard . I was timid and easily startled but took treats very nicely. I am not ready for 'over the head' petting yet. They love my beautiful coat too!. I loosened up and was actually relaxed when they carted my back to kennel. I need patient, quiet foster home to allow me time to build trust with people (no apartments as I am not good on leash yet). Not sure how I am with other dogs but 'Us' fear dogs usually like other dogs. I'm hoping that someone reading my post will give me a chance. I don't want to die in this cold, lonely shelter.
