She is mostly black and a little chunk of a lady, lol, she could afford to lose a pound or two(and who am I to judge??). PeaPod is 2 years old and is more brown and white. We are totally guessing on their mix. We are sure they are Chihuahua, but mixed with what, who knows. They both have a little curled tail, stubby legs and a longer body, so perhaps some Dachshund in there? They seem a little shell shocked by the whole shelter/rescue situation. It can be very stressful especially if they had a loving home and are missing their family. We are not sure why they were given up, but they seem like they were very much loved. The two came to us as a bonded pair, and they would be fine going to their new home together. But, PeaPod has really become much more independent and will engage with the other dogs, find other things to do rather than be by Brussle's side all day. He is a little joy, so loving and full of kisses, and has the best, silly personality. PeaPod loves his toys, and most other dogs. He is not fond of the bigger, rowdier dogs that play too rough, and he is not afraid to bark and put them in their place. Funny how these little dogs can run the show-!! BrusselSprout is 4 years old, and she is much more reserved than PeaPod. She is sweet and cuddly with people but is a little unsure of these strange dogs in her foster home. She has been soothing her nerves by sucking on a blanket, poor girl. But, she is getting a bit more relaxed. She loves running around the yard, exploring and getting some fresh air. She would be fine as an only dog where she will get all the love and attention. They are each precious little dogs and will do well in a family that has tons of time and love to help them feel secure again. Their adoption fee's are $300/each.
