About Jet

Jet is a 2 year old brindle Am. Staffy. He ended up in a high kill shelter in Texas due to being a stray. He was found wandering the streets and an amazing citizen took him into the shelter so he wouldn't become another statistic in Texas like many other dogs have. He is heart worm positive but if someone is willing to give him a forever home or a foster home the rescue is interested in saving him but we need a place for him to go as we are foster based. Jet is described as being a calm laid back boy, he is very friendly with everyone. He has done really well with other dogs while in the shelter, except when they are barking in his face or they are loud and reactive to him he will stop put his head down and tuck his tail between his legs. He gets very scared and very submissive. The shelter has learned if you baby talk to him and pet his head he will calm down and continue walking. He does really well with being leashed and walking. He would do fine in a home with children 10 and over due to him being fearful of loud noises. I'm time that will subside and he will be able to live without being in fear. If anyone has it in their heart to offer jet a foster home or forever home please send us a message and we will respond back and answer any questions you may have. We would really like to save jet from being euthanized if possible but we need the publics help in doing so. Also prior to leaving Texas jet would need to complete 2 weeks of boarding for quarantine. We quarantine all animals prior to transit be sure they are well enough for travel and they have no diseases. Once jet completes his 2 weeks quarantine and is cleared by the vet we will get him a health certificate and we will arrange transport for him to his new family�'�|
