Cooper is a young male hound mix. He is estimated to be about a year and a half. He was found in Texas wandering the streets alone. He had on a collar and was already neutered. He was picked up and taken to the shelter. The shelter staff think he may have belonged to a homeless person. He walks very easily on the leash, he gets very excited and can be a little jumpy. The shelter said he is very affectionate and loves everyone he meets. He was fine with other dogs in the dog run. We aren't sure about cats as he hasn't been around any yo anyones knowledge. Cooper will be very easily trained because he is highly treat motivated. He also has a very calm demeanor. He is being evaluated by a vet due to some issues with limping on his one leg. The shelter noted he had bite marks. We would like to pull cooper but we need either a foster or adopter. Cooper will remain in Texas once pulled for a minimum of 2 weeks to be quarantined and to make sure he is a Healy dog and able to Board transport. If you are interested in fostering or adopting Cooper please send us a message.
