About WAGSTER

Adoption Fee: $150
American Staffordshire Terrier mix
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

Wagster was found of the side of the highway and believed to be dead until the first sign of life was his wagging tail. A broken pelvis and leg had him crate bound for a month while his injuries healed, and then walking therapy began. His love of life and people accelerated his healing and he's now ready to start looking for his new forever home! While his right leg will always be a little gimpy and his extreme sport days behind him, this adventurous happy boy is ready to join you on all your daily activities. He wants to run and play and be by your side. Wagster is seven years old, and a mix of American Staffordshire Terrier, Pit bull, and Labrador. Wagster is partially deaf which makes him very in-tune with hand signals and body language. Coming from a rough part of town, he's very grateful for love and full of joy. His handsome features and photogenic face have gained him a small social media following who love to hear updates on Wagster's progress. If you want to have this bundle of joy in your life, please reach out to us to see if you're his match. Wagster is available for adoption with Saving Grace Dog Rescue of San Antonio. The adoption fee is $150.00. An adoption application, home visit and adoption contract are all required. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations appropriate for their age, microchipped, and wormed for internal and external parasites. If you would like more information or an adoption application, please email us at [email protected]. Please note that visual breed identification in rescue dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only GUESSING at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
