FOSTER/ADOPTER NEEDED: Hi, my name is Zoey and I am a 5 year old Pit Bull. I'm a beautiful scared girl who was abandoned by my family because they didn't want me anymore. They took me to the boarding facility where I was only supposed to stay for a week, but then they never came back for me. I was left in a cold, horrible boarding facility for the past 4 years where I don't have a bed, any warmth or even a blanket to lay on. My kennel is pretty small and it's really cold at night where I am. There's so many other scared dogs here, that all I hear all day is their scared barking all around me. I'm a good girl and don't know what I did wrong to be left here. I'm very gentle and have calm energy. I'm not hyper or a jumper. I'm a very sweet girl who just wants to be loved, and I'll love you back in return. It's best that I be the only pet in the home. Living in this boarding facility for so long and being surrounded by all of these dogs has been rough. I have come to learn that I'd prefer to be the only dog in my forever home. I hope you can understand. I would really love to find a foster family or my forever family who will pet me and make me feel safe and loved again. I will lay with you and I will also look forward to my walks so I can feel the sunshine on my face. Will you please help me get out of this scary cold place? I'll be the bestest girl and love you forever. I really want to be home with you for the new year. That will be the greatest gift of all.
