Lance is a male Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix that was rescued from a hoarding situation. He is one and half years old and weighs less than twelve pounds. This cute little fella was really frightened when he first arrived but volunteers have worked hard to make him feel at home. Lance is settling in now and we are finally beginning to see his true personality. Calm and quiet, this pup prefers to take things slow when meeting new people. Once you form a bond with him, Lance will be your devoted best friend. This shy boy would do well in a home with an adult or family with older children. He gets along well with other dogs that respect his space. Lance is especially fond of his pal Gerry that was rescued from the same home. Both dogs enjoy snuggling together and spending time outside in our play yard. We would be over the moon if they were adopted together, but both would do fine in a home with another companion. Lance appears to be housebroken but may need additional training until he gets comfortable in his new surroundings. A home with a fenced in backyard would be ideal to keep him safe when outside. Lance is fully vetted and ready to spend the best years of his life with you.
