My name is Starr, I am around 2 years old and so pretty. Just look at my markings, I have very unique and gorgeous mask. I am super kissy and submissive. I will roll over for tummy rubs! I was rescued from Lee County because I was hit by a car. The doctor recommended crate rest for 8 weeks and slow rehab, which is where I am right now. I know how to sit, shake, lay, go home for my crate, and OK as my release word. I am making good progress with threshold training. I am decently responsive to my name for recall and a sharp NO for corrections. I am the quietest husky you will ever meet. I will howl in the morning when I need to get out of my crate to go to the bathroom. I am a little vocal in the morning when I am waiting for my breakfast. When I am left alone, I will whimper, but only for a few minutes and I quickly settle down. I love to be with people, but am equally good at quickly setting into quiet crate time when needed. I will go into my crate on my own and nap randomly during the day. Because of my pelvic injury I will need to be crated when left alone. I am not super destructive, but have not entirely learned what is a dog chew toy and what isn't., I am still very puppy like. I LOVE toys especially ones that crinkle and squeak. I also play with plush and rope toys. I take] a little coaxing to get into the car, but quickly relax and enjoy car rides. I love other doggos and want to play with them, but due to my surgery, I am still in recovery mode. I will make a great fursister. I am also good with cats as long as I can be properly introduced that is, if they run, I will chase. If they swat, I quickly back off. I am super loving, submissive, and quiet. I will likely need some leash training, but considering how quickly I have picked up on my training so far, I suspect I will learn to walk properly on the leash just as quickly. I am really a star!!!
